GDC Kamavarapukota  Date: 04/07/2025 Today, as per the instructions of College Principal Dr. K. Vijay Babu and according to the academic calendar, the Departments of History and NSS jointly organized the Alluri Sitarama Raju Jayanthi program in a grand manner. The event was presided over by the In-charge Principal Mr. M. Malleswara Rao, who first paid floral tributes to the portrait of Alluri Sitarama Raju. In his address, Mr. Malleswara Rao spoke about the life history of Alluri Sitarama Raju and praised his valiant struggle against British colonial rule, referring to him as the brave warrior of the forests who led the tribal uprising. The event was attended by the In-charge Principal Mr. M. Malleswara Rao, NSS Coordinator Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, faculty members M. Usha Rani, K. Indira Kumari, Dharavathu Mallesh, P. The program was presided over by the In-charge Principal, Mr. M. Malleswara Rao, who addressed the students about the adverse effects of population growth and raised awareness on the issue. Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, NSS Coordinator, spoke about the importance of optimal utilization of resources. Mrs. K. Indira Kumari, Lecturer in Economics, explained the significance of World Population Day.
