Independence Day Celebrations 2026 The 80th Independence Day celebrations were conducted grandly at Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota. The programme was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. K. Vijaya Babu. On this occasion, the Principal unfurled the National Flag. Addressing the gathering, he said that the freedom achieved through the sacrifices of the freedom fighters should be valued and that the younger generation should understand the importance of Independence and contribute to the development of the nation.
