  గురజాడ అప్పారావు జయంతి నివేదిక ప్రభుత్వ డిగ్రీ కళాశాల, కామవరపుకోటలో కళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్ డాక్టర్ కె విజయబాబు గారి సూచనల మేరకు కళాశాల విద్య అకడమిక్ క్యాలెండర్ ప్రకారం తెలుగు శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో 21-09-2026న ప్రముఖ తెలుగు కవి, నాటక రచయిత, సామాజిక సంస్కర్త గురజాడ అప్పారావు గారి జయంతి వేడుకలను ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. కార్యక్రమానికి కళాశాల ఇన్‌చార్జి ప్రిన్సిపాల్ డా ఎం మధు గారు అధ్యక్షత వహించారు.ప్రారంభంలో గురజాడ అప్పారావు గారి చిత్రపటానికి పుష్పాంజలి ఘటించి, ఆయన తెలుగు సాహిత్యానికి చేసిన విశిష్ట సేవలను స్మరించుకున్నారు. తెలుగు అధ్యాపకులు డా జి. శ్రీనివాస రావు గురజాడ రచనలలో ప్రతిబింబించిన సామాజిక చైతన్యం, స్త్రీ విద్య, సమాజ సంస్కరణ, మూఢనమ్మకాల నిర్మూలన, వ్యావహారిక భాషా ఉద్యమం వంటి అంశాలను వివరించారు. విద్యార్థులు గురజాడ సాహిత్యం ద్వారా సమాజం పట్ల బాధ్యత, మానవతా విలువలు, సమానత్వ భావనలను అలవరచుకోవాలని సూచించారు.  అనంతరం అధ్యాపకులు మరియు విద్యార్థులు గురజాడ అప్పారావు గారి జీవితం, సాహిత్య కృషి, సామాజిక సంస్కరణ భావాలు మరియు “దేశమంటే మట్టి కాదోయ్, దేశమంటే మనుషులోయ్” అనే మానవతా సందేశం గురించి ప్రస...

  Swachh Andhra – Swarna Andhra Programme Report Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota Date: 19-09-2026 A Swachh Andhra – Swarna Andhra cleanliness and awareness programme was conducted at Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota, on 19-09-2026. The programme aimed to promote cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and active participation of students in building a clean and healthy society. Objectives To create awareness about cleanliness and sanitation. To encourage students to maintain a clean campus and surroundings. To promote proper waste segregation and disposal.   World Ozone Day As per the Instructions of the Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu sir and in accordance with the Academic Calendar,  Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota observed World Ozone Day on 16 September 2026 to create awareness among students about the importance of the ozone layer and the need for its protection. The programme was organized jointly by the Department of Chemistry and NSS Unit. Programme Proceedings The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. M.
