Youth Development Programme organized by Career Guidance Cell

  Youth Development Programme Date: 23-02-2026 As per the instructions of the College Principal Dr. K. Vijaya Babu and in accordance with the academic calendar of the college, a “Youth Development Programme” was organized under the joint auspices of the Career Guidance Cell of the college and Afro Organization (Mandalized Company). The programme was conducted under the chairmanship of In-charge Principal Sri M. Malleswara Rao. Dr. B. B. John, Medical Officer of the Primary Health Centre, Tadikalapudi, attended as the Chief Guest. In his address, he explained the harmful effects of drug abuse and also created awareness about the increasing cyber crimes in the present society. International Mother Language Day organized by Department of Telugu

  International Mother Language Day  Date: 21-02-2026 As per the instructions of our Principal Dr.K. Vijaya Babu and in accordance with the Academic Calendar,  International Mother Language Day was celebrated on 21st February 2026 in the college with great enthusiasm and active participation from all staff and students. The programme was organized by the Department of Telugu under the guidance of the Incharge Principal and Head of the Department of Telugu, Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao. On this occasion, Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of mother tongue in preserving culture, traditions, and identity. NATIONAL DEWORMING DAY Organized by NSS Unit

  NATIONAL DEWORMING DAY As per the instructions of our Principal Dr.K. Vijaya Babu and in accordance with the Academic Calendar,  On 17 February 2026, National Deworming Day was observed at Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota. The programme was jointly organized by the NSS Unit and the Primary Health Centre, Adamelli. Presiding over the programme, incharge principal Sri M. Malleswara Rao stated that students’ health is crucial for societal development and emphasized that the prevention of worm infestations contributes to both physical and mental growth. The NSS Coordinator, Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, created awareness about the health problems caused by intestinal worms, the methods of prevention, and the importance of personal hygiene. The medical staff from the Primary Health Centre, Adamelli distributed Albendazole tablets to the students and explained the proper method of consumption.  SAROJINI NAIDU JAYANTHI Date: 13-02-2026 As per the instructions of our Principal Dr.K. Vijaya Babu and in accordance with the Academic Calendar,  The Department of English organized Sarojini Naidu Jayanthi on 13th February 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sarojini Naidu, popularly known as the “Nightingale of India.” The programme aimed to create awareness among students about her remarkable contributions to Indian literature and the freedom movement. The event began with a floral tribute to the portrait of Sarojini Naidu. Sri. M. Malleswara Rao, Chairperson of the programme, presided over the function and addressed the gathering. In his speech, he highlighted Sarojini Naidu’s role as a distinguished poet, freedom fighter, and the first woman Governor of an Indian state. R J D C E SURPISE VISIT RJDCE, Zone II, Dr. P. V. Krishnaji sir made a surprise visit to GDC Kamavarapukota on 13.02.2026. During the visit sir verified academic and administrative records, interacted with the students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. Sir has given valuable inputs to the teaching staff members on how to improve the academic standards and to improve the strength of the college. Also instructed  non-teaching staff on the maintenance of office records and to support the Principal in the administration

  Open Day 2026 As per the instructions of the CCE, Open Day was conducted at S V Junior College & High School Plus Kamavarapukota. We explained in detail about: Courses offered (B.A ECONOMICS, B.A POLITICAL SCIENCE, B.COM Computer Applications, B.SC ZOOLOGY), infrastructure, fees reimbursement, accessibility, smart classrooms, computer lab, AI lab, library, student support committees, internships, job melas, field trips, career guidance, caring faculty, especially Girls hostel and invited all the students to visit our college.  

JOB MELA ON 31-01-2026

 J OB MELA  Job Mela at the College Date: 31-01-2026 Venue : Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota A Job Mela was organized today at the Government Degree College located at Adamilli, Kamavarapukota Mandal, under the auspices of the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation and Chintalapudi MLA Sri Songa Roshan Kumar. In this Job Mela, 112 young men and women attended the interviews, out of which 54 candidates were selected for various job opportunities, stated In-charge Principal Sri M. Malleswara Rao. Representatives from 17 companies participated in this Job Mela. The programme was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Chintalapudi MLA Sri Songa Roshan Kumar, former MLA Sri Ghanta Murali, Telugu Desam Party Mandal President Sri Kilari Satyanarayana, Sarpanch Sri Gudapati Keshava Rao, District Employment Officer K. Praveen, and other dignitaries.
