  NSS Day Celebrations 2026 As per the Instructions of the Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu sir and in accordance with the Academic Calendar, NSS Day was celebrated on 24th September 2026 at Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota. The programme was organized by the NSS Unit in the Seminar Hall. Objectives of the Activity To create awareness about the aims and objectives of the National Service Scheme. To develop social responsibility and community consciousness among students. To encourage students to participate in community service activities. To develop leadership, communication and teamwork skills. To promote the NSS motto “Not Me But You.” Dr. M.   World Ozone Day As per the Instructions of the Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu sir and in accordance with the Academic Calendar,  Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota observed World Ozone Day on 16 September 2026 to create awareness among students about the importance of the ozone layer and the need for its protection. The programme was organized jointly by the Department of Chemistry and NSS Unit. Programme Proceedings The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. M.
