 J OB MELA  Job Mela at the College Date: 31-01-2026 Venue : Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota A Job Mela was organized today at the Government Degree College located at Adamilli, Kamavarapukota Mandal, under the auspices of the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation and Chintalapudi MLA Sri Songa Roshan Kumar. In this Job Mela, 112 young men and women attended the interviews, out of which 54 candidates were selected for various job opportunities, stated In-charge Principal Sri M. Malleswara Rao. Representatives from 17 companies participated in this Job Mela. The programme was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Chintalapudi MLA Sri Songa Roshan Kumar, former MLA Sri Ghanta Murali, Telugu Desam Party Mandal President Sri Kilari Satyanarayana, Sarpanch Sri Gudapati Keshava Rao, District Employment Officer K. Praveen, and other dignitaries.

  Guest Lecture organized by Department of Chemistry As per the instructions of our Principal  Dr.K.Vijaya Babu  and in accordance with the Academic calender the Department of Chemistry organized a Guest Lecture on 30-01-2026 to enrich the academic knowledge of the students. The programme was conducted under the chairmanship of Sri M. Malleswara Rao, In charge Principal. The guest lecture was delivered by Sk. Moin Ansari, Lecturer in Chemistry, Government Degree College, Ganapavaram. The lecture was organized by Smt. M. Usha Rani, Department of Chemistry. The topic of the lecture, “Optical Isomerism”, was explained in a clear and systematic manner.  Republic Day Celebrations 2026   Jan 26, 2026 — Government Degree College (GDC) Kamavarapukota marked India’s 77th Republic Day today with a grand ceremonial event on the college campus. The celebration, which commenced at 8:30 AM, was attended by faculty, staff, students, and distinguished members of the local community. ​The proceedings began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, Dr. K. Vijaya Babu, Principal of GDC Kamavarapukota. Following the flag hoisting, the air was filled with patriotism as students D. Iswarya, M. Deepika, and K. Ragini performed "Vandematharam." ​The event featured a series of stirring speeches from students, including S. Pavithra and M.
