Independence Day Celebrations 2026 The 80th Independence Day celebrations were conducted grandly at Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota. The programme was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. K. Vijaya Babu. On this occasion, the Principal unfurled the National Flag. Addressing the gathering, he said that the freedom achieved through the sacrifices of the freedom fighters should be valued and that the younger generation should understand the importance of Independence and contribute to the development of the nation. Special Guest Sri G. Keshava Rao Garu, CPDC Secretary, in his address, emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication and value-based education among students.  As part of the celebrations, students participated enthusiastically in various programmes. Har Ghar Tiranga Awareness and Plantation Programme organized by NSS Unit  As per the instructions of our Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu sir and AKNU NSS Cell circular The Har Ghar Tiranga Programme was organized by the NSS Unit, Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota, under the guidance of Dr. M. Madhu, In-charge Principal, and the coordination of Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, NSS Programme Officer. The Plantation is essential for protecting the environment and maintaining ecological balance. Trees provide oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide, reduce air pollution, prevent soil erosion, conserve water, and help control climate change. Plantation programmes also increase green cover and create a healthier and more beautiful surroundings.                   Har Ghar Tiranga - 2026 Date : 13- 08-2026 Report :  As per the instructions of the College Principal Dr.K.Vijay Babu sir  and in accordance with the academic calendar On 13th August 2026, the NSS Unit  Collaboration with Political Science Department of Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota organized the Har Ghar Tiranga programme on the college premises.
