NATIONAL SMALL INDUSTRY DAY 2026 Aim The main aim of observing National Small Industry Day 2026 on 30-08-2026 is to create awareness among students about the importance of small-scale industries in economic development, employment generation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth. The programme also aims to encourage students to develop entrepreneurial skills and explore opportunities in the MSME sector. Objectives To create awareness about the role and importance of small-scale industries in the Indian economy. To understand the contribution of MSMEs to employment generation and economic development. To motivate students towards entrepreneurship and self-employment. To familiarize students with government schemes and support available for small industries and MSMEs. Outcomes Students gained a better understanding of the importance of small industries and MSMEs.
