                Bhagat Singh Jayanti 

Aim :-

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and create awareness among students about his life, ideals, patriotism and contribution to India’s freedom struggle.

Objectives:-

1. To introduce students to the life and contributions of Bhagat Singh.

2. To develop national consciousness and social responsibility among students.

3. To inspire students to uphold justice, equality and freedom.

4. To encourage students to study the history of India’s freedom movement.

Brief Report: -

As per the Instructions of the Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu sir and in accordance with the Academic Calendar,The birth anniversary of the famous freedom fighter Bhagat Singh was celebrated in the college organised by the Department of Political Science,under the Guidance of the in-charge principal Dr. M Madhu. The in-charge principal of the college, M Madhu, who presided over the celebrations, garlanded the portrait of Bhagat Singh and paid tribute. Later, in his speech, the in-charge Principal Dr. M Madhu praised the sacrifice of Bhagat Singh as a revolutionary hero who fought great battles for the independence of our country and sacrificed his life.

In-charge Principal Dr.M.Madhu, IQAC Co Ordinator Dr.G Sreenivasa Rao, Faculty members S.Susyalatha, Dharavathu Malleswara Rao, K.Indira Kumari, M Vijaya krishna , P Kalpana , and students participated in this celebration.

Outcomes

1. Students gained knowledge about Bhagat Singh’s life and revolutionary activities.

2. Students understood the importance of patriotism, courage and sacrifice.

3. The programme created awareness about the Indian freedom struggle.

4. The programme strengthened students’ interest in Indian history and freedom fighters.
