Aim:

To inspire students with the life, values, and contributions of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and promote equality, justice, and education for all.

 Objectives:

  •  To educate students about the life, struggles, and achievements of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar
  •  To promote values of equality, justice, fraternity, and liberty among students.
  •  To encourage critical thinking  on social issues like caste discrimination, untouchability, and inequality.
  •   To raise awareness about the importance of the Indian Constitution and democratic values.

Brief Report:

As per the Instructions of Dr. K. Vijaya Babu, Principal of the Government Degree College, kamavarpukota and in accordance with the college's academic calendar, the Department of Political Science celebrates   " Dr.B.R.Ambedkar 134th Birth Anniversary celebrations in our college under the leadership of  in charge Principal M Malleswara Rao. The In-charge Principal of the college, M. Malleswara Rao, who presided over the program, garlanded the portrait of Ambedkar and paid tribute. Later, the In-charge Principal M. Malleswara Rao gave a speech and praised the services of Ambedkar as a great social reformer who worked hard to eliminate caste discrimination and achieve equality. In-charge Principal M Malleswara Rao, IQAC Coordinator Dr. G Srinivasa Rao, Teaching staff M Usharani, K Indira Kumari, Dharavathu Malleswara Rao, B Venkateswara Rao, P Yedukondalu, M Vijaya Krishna, Non-teaching staff and students participated in this event.

 

 Outcomes:  

  •   Increased awareness of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's life, contributions, and philosophy
  •   Reflection on social justice, equality, and constitutional values, especially among students.
