THEME: “Ek Bharat, Aatmanirbhar Bharat”


AIM: -

The aim of National Unity Day (Rastriya Ekta Divas) is to promote national integration, unity, and the values of solidarity among students. It is observed on October 31st to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who played a crucial role in unifying India after independence.

Objectives: -

To encourage students to appreciate India’s diversity and unity.

To instill a sense of national pride and responsibility among youth.

To Educate students about Patel role in unifying India

To Foster collaboration and respect among students from diverse backgrounds.


Brief Report:

        As per the Instructions of the Principal Dr.K.Vijaya babu, and in accordance with the Academic Calendar, "National Unity Day" celebrations were Conducted at the college by the Department of Political Science with collaboration of N. S. S. Unit. The college's in-charge principal M Malleswara Rao, who presided over the program, garlanded the portrait of "Vallabhai Patel" and paid tribute. Later, in his speech, in-charge principal M Malleswara Rao praised Patel's efforts for uniting independent India. Later, political science teacher Dharavathu Malleswara Rao spoke and suggested that everyone should work towards achieving Patel's dream. Later, a pledge was taken under the auspices of the NSS department. In-charge principal M Malleswara Rao, Faculty members M Usharani, K Indira Kumari, Dharavathu Mallesh, B Raju, P Yedukondalu, M Vijaya Krishna, Kalpana, staff Kumar Raja, and students participated in the program.

Outcomes: -

Increased Awareness of National Integration.

Strengthened Patriotism and Civic Responsibility.

Development of Leadership and Teamwork Skills.
