Potti Sreeramulu Varthanti 

 On 15th December 2025, the NSS Unit organized Potti Sreeramulu Varthanti to commemorate the sacrifice of Amarajeevi Potti Sreeramulu, who laid down his life for the formation of Andhra State. The programme was conducted with great respect and patriotism.

The programme began with the floral tributes to the portrait of Potti Sreeramulu. The In charge Principal Sri M. Malleswara Rao addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of Potti Sreeramulu’s supreme sacrifice and his role in the formation of Andhra State. He inspired the students to follow the values of dedication, sacrifice, and service to society.

NSS Programme Officer Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao spoke about the importance of remembering great leaders and emphasized the role of youth in nation building. He explained how Potti Sreeramulu’s non-violent struggle became a milestone in Indian history.

Staff members and students actively participated in the programme. The event helped students understand the value of selfless service, patriotism, and social responsibility.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The observance of Potti Sreeramulu Varthanti was meaningful and successful, instilling inspiration and respect for great national leaders among students.
