As per the instructions of the College Principal Dr. K. Vijaya Babu and in accordance with the academic calendar of the college, a “Youth Development Programme” was organized under the joint auspices of the Career Guidance Cell of the college and Afro Organization (Mandalized Company). The programme was conducted under the chairmanship of In-charge Principal Sri M. Malleswara Rao.

Dr. B. B. John, Medical Officer of the Primary Health Centre, Tadikalapudi, attended as the Chief Guest. In his address, he explained the harmful effects of drug abuse and also created awareness about the increasing cyber crimes in the present society.

Sri Gudapati Keshava Rao, Sarpanch of Adamilli, attended as the Special Guest and advised the youth to stay away from intoxicating substances and to build a bright and successful future.

Mr. P. Vijay Prasad, Project Manager of Afro Organization, addressed the students and emphasized that knowledge of computers and communication skills are essential for success in the future.

Later, Constable Nagamani advised the students to strictly follow road safety rules.

The programme was attended by In-charge Principal Sri M. Malleswara Rao, Sarpanch Sri Gudapati Keshava Rao, Dr. B. B. John, Project Manager Mr. P. Vijay Prasad, IQAC Coordinator Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, Field Executive Y. Rajesh, Constable Nagamani, faculty members, and students.

Outcomes of the Programme

  • Students gained awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
  • Awareness was created regarding cybercrimes and preventive measures.
  • Students understood the importance of staying away from intoxicating substances.
  •     Awareness about road safety rules and responsible citizenship was enhanced.
  • Students realized the importance of computer knowledge and communication skills for career growth.
  • The programme strengthened coordination between the college and external organizations.
