 TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATIONS 2025

As per the instructions of the college Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu and in accordance with the academic calendar Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota on 5th September 2025 in the Seminar Hall. The programme was organized under the guidance of the NSS Unit of the college.

The function was presided over by Sri M. Malleswara Rao, In-charge Principal, who highlighted the significance of Teachers’ Day and paid rich tributes to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the great teacher, philosopher, and former President of India.

Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, NSS Programme Officer, along with the staff members, coordinated the programme and motivated the students to uphold the values of respect and gratitude towards teachers. Several students actively participated in the celebrations by delivering speeches, presenting cultural activities, and sharing their experiences about the role of teachers in shaping their lives.

All the teaching and non-teaching staff members were felicitated by the students as a token of love and respect. The programme created a warm atmosphere filled with appreciation and reverence.

In his presidential address, Sri M. Malleswara Rao appreciated the efforts of the NSS Unit and the students in organizing the event. He reminded everyone of the noble role played by teachers in nation-building.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by one of the staff members, followed by the National Anthem.
