Report on the 150 Years of Vande Mataram Celebration

As per the instructions of Dr. K. Vijaya Babu, Principal of Kamaravapukota Government Degree College, and according NSS Unit organized a special program on 07th November 2025 to commemorate 150 years of the patriotic song Vande Mataram. The event was conducted in the college premises with great enthusiasm and national spirit.

Sri M. Malleswara Rao, In-charge Principal, presided over the program and addressed the gathering, emphasizing the historical importance of Vande Mataram and its role in inspiring the freedom movement. He urged students to uphold the values of unity and patriotism symbolized by the song.

The program was organized by Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, Lecturer in Telugu, under the guidance of the NSS Unit. NSS volunteers and students participated actively by performing the Vande Mataram song, delivering speeches, and presenting essays highlighting its literary and national significance.

The celebration concluded with the national anthem, instilling a deep sense of pride and devotion among all participants.
