Theme: “My India - My Vote” 

Aim: 

1).To create awareness among students about the importance of voting in a democratic system.

2).To encourage young voters to register and actively participate in the electoral process.

3).To promote the values of **democracy, equality, and responsible citizenship among youth.


Objectives:

1).To educate students about their voting rights and duties as responsible citizens.

2).To motivate first-time voters to take part in free and fair elections.

3).To strengthen democratic values through awareness programmes, speeches, and competitions.


Brief Report:

 As per the instructions of our Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu and in accordance with the Academic Calendar, The 16th "National Voters' Day" program was organized grandly by the Political Science Department in collaboration with NSS Unit and Revenue Department under the leadership of In-charge Principal sir M Malleswara Rao at the college. On this occasion Chief Guest Sri G.Elisha garu, Tahasildar, Kamavarapukota addressed that everyone should be aware of the importance of vote and should exercise their vote freely without any temptation and choose the best leadership. Senior voter Lakshmi was felicitated on this occasion. Later, a "Pledge" and an "Awareness Rally" were organized on the use of vote. Later, Tahsildar Sri G.Elisha garu presented prizes to the winners of Essay writing and Elocution competitions organized on this occasion. In-charge Principal M Malleswara Rao, Sarpanch G Kesavarao garu, faculty members M Usharani, K Indira Kumari, Dharavathu Malleswarao, B.Raju, P Yedukondalu, M Vijaya Krishna, Revenue staff and students participated in this event.

Outcomes :

1).Students gained better understanding of the electoral system and voting procedures.

2) Increased awareness and enthusiasm among students towards voter registration and participation.
