   The Department of Zoology, Government Degree College, Kamavarapu Kota, organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “Immunoglobulins” on 27 January 2026. The lecture was delivered by Dr. M. Vijaya Kumar, Lecturer in Zoology, Government Degree College, Eluru.

    Dr. M. Vijaya Kumar explained the concept of immunoglobulins in a systematic manner, covering their structure, classification, and biological functions. He emphasized the role of antibodies in the body’s defense mechanism and their importance in diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. The lecture also provided insights into recent applications of immunoglobulins in medical science.

   Students actively participated in the session and clarified their doubts during the interaction. The programme was informative and academically enriching. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere appreciation to the guest speaker for his valuable and enlightening lecture.
