Occasion :    16th National Voters’ Day

Organised Department : Political Science & NSS Unit.

Theme: “My India - My Vote” 

Aim: 

The aim of organising Essay Writing and Elocution Competitions on the occasion of the 16th National Voters’ Day is to create awareness among students about the importance of voting and to encourage them to become responsible, informed, and active citizens in a democratic society.


Objectives : 

1. To create awareness on the right to vote and democratic values.

2. To motivate youth to participate actively in the electoral process.

3. To enhance students’ writing, speaking, and analytical skills.

4. To encourage students to express their views on democracy, citizenship, and ethical voting.


Outcomes : 

1.Students gained better understanding of the importance of voting in a democracy

2. Increased awareness among students about their rights and duties as voters.

3. Active participation reflected students’ positive attitude towards democratic values.

4. The competitions helped in strengthening civic awareness and democratic spirit in the college campus.
