Report on Income Tax Day 2026

As per the instructions of our Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu sir and in accordance with the Academic Calendar, The Department of Commerce, Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota, are organized an Orientation Program on "Income Tax Day 2026" at 3 PM in the Digital Classroom under the chairmanship of I/C Principal Dr. M. Madhu sir and IQAC Coordinator Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao sir. The program aimed to create awareness among students about importance of income tax, tax compliance, slabs, and the role of taxpayers in the economic development of the nation.

Smt S. Susyalatha, Lec in Commerce & Mr. M. Vijaya Krishna, Lec in Commerce are explained important topics such as IT history, tax slabs, role of taxpayers, and importance of tax paid to the Nation.

Students actively participated in the session and clarified their doubts regarding how to calculate the tax for Rs. 25 lakh's income for businessman in IT Returns.

 Outcomes

1. Awareness of the importance of income tax in national - building.

2. Basic knowledge of the income tax system in India.

3. Understanding of online income tax return filing.

4. Motivation to become responsible and honest taxpayers in the future.

The Department of Commerce was successfully conducted the program with our staff and actively participation of students.
