NSS Unit Organized by SASA Programme

SASA Programme

As per the instructions of our Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu sir and in accordance with the Academic Calendar Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota, organized the Swarna Andhra – Swachha Andhra (SASA) programme on the occasion of the Third Saturday of July.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. M. Madhu, In-charge Principal, and coordinated by Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, SASA Coordinator. Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students actively participated in the cleanliness drive.

As part of the programme, the participants cleaned classrooms, laboratories, the college campus, and its surroundings. Awareness was created on waste segregation, plastic-free practices, environmental protection, and personal hygiene. A Swachha Andhra Pledge was administered, encouraging everyone to contribute towards a clean, green, and healthy Andhra Pradesh.

The programme concluded successfully with an appeal to continue participating in the SASA initiative and promote cleanliness as a collective responsibility.
