Report on Staff Meeting

A staff meeting for the Academic Year 2026–2027 was conducted on 10 July 2026 under the chairmanship of Dr. K. Vijaya Babu, Principal, at Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota. The meeting was attended by Dr. M. Madhu, Vice Principal, Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, IQAC Coordinator, and all teaching and non-teaching staff members.

The Principal welcomed the faculty and emphasized the importance of maintaining academic excellence, discipline, and student-centric practices throughout the academic year. The Vice Principal highlighted the need for effective coordination among departments to ensure the smooth implementation of academic and administrative activities.

Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, IQAC Coordinator, presented the quality initiatives and action plan for the academic year 2026–2027. Faculty members were advised to prepare annual departmental plans, maintain academic records, conduct bridge and remedial courses, strengthen student mentoring, promote research and extension activities, and organize seminars, workshops, and skill development programmes. The importance of timely completion of the syllabus, continuous internal assessment, and effective use of digital learning resources was also discussed.

The Principal urged all staff members to work collectively to enhance student enrolment, improve academic outcomes, and uphold the standards of the institution. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and a collective commitment to achieving the goals of the college during the academic year 2026–2027.
