International Women's Day Organized by Women Empowerment Cell

       

International Women's Day

As per the instructions of our Principal, Dr. K. Vijaya Babu, sir, on the occasion of Women’s Day celebrations, the Women Empowerment Cell of Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota, conducted Mehendi competitions under the chairmanship of I/C Principal Sri M. Malleswara Rao, sir, and IQAC Coordinator Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, sir.

Aim: The program aimed to provide a platform for students (especially girl students) to showcase their hidden talent, artistic skills, patience, and creativity through henna designs.

Objectives: To develop self-confidence, teamwork, leadership, and public presentation skills among participants in a fun, non-academic environment.

To foster a spirit of healthy competition, community bonding, and joy while giving students a refreshing break from routine studies.

Outcomes:  Participants gained confidence, patience, concentration, teamwork (especially in artist-model pairs), and presentation skills.

Students actively took part, displaying beautiful traditional, modern, fusion, and theme-based designs .

The event added fun, and cultural flavour to Women’s Day, making the occasion more joyful and unforgettable for the entire college.
