National Science Day
As per the instructions of the College Principal, Dr. K. Vijaya Babu, and as per the Academic Calendar of Collegiate Education, "National Science Day" was celebrated grandly today under the auspices of the Science Departments.
Key Highlights of the Event:
Tribute to Sir C.V. Raman: Presiding over the event, In-charge Principal M. Malleswara Rao praised the legendary scientist Sir C.V. Raman for his extraordinary contributions to Physics. He highlighted how the discovery of the "Raman Effect" paved the way for modern scientific innovations.
Significance of the Day: Chemistry Lecturer M. Usha Rani explained the historical importance of National Science Day and its role in fostering scientific temper among students.
Scientific Applications: Zoology Lecturer B. Raju elaborated on the vital significance of the Raman Effect in the field of medical science.
Student Exhibitions: Science students showcased various Chemistry and Zoology models, which stood as the main attraction of the event and impressed the attendees.
