Dr.B.R Ambedkar Jayanti Celebrations
Aim:
1) To commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and honor his contributions to Indian society and the Constitution.
2) To spread awareness about equality, justice, and social reform among students.
3) To inspire students to follow the values of democracy and human rights.
Objectives:
1).To educate students about the life, struggles, and achievements of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
2).To highlight his role in drafting the Constitution of India.
3).To promote the importance of social equality, fraternity, and justice.
Brief Report:
As per the instructions of our Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu sir and in accordance with the Academic Calendar, The Department of Political Science organized the 135th birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in a grand manner under the chairmanship of In-charge Principal M. Malleswara Rao, On this occasion, the In-charge Principal M. Malleswara Rao garlanded the portrait of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar paid rich tributes. Speaking on the occasion, he praised Dr. Ambedkar’s services, stating that he was the architect of the Indian Constitution, a great social reformer, and that he worked tirelessly for achieving social equality. Later, Political Science Lecturer Dharavathu Malleswara Rao addressed the gathering and advised everyone to strive for the realization of Ambedkar’s ideals.
In-charge Principal M. Malleswara Rao, faculty members M. Usharani, K. Indira Kumari, Dharavathu Malleswara Rao, B. Raju, P. Kalpana, and Non Teaching staff members G.Chandramohan, J Annapurnamma, K.Ratna Sirilo, R Kumar Raja, and students participated in this event.
Outcomes:
1.Students gain knowledge about the contributions of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
2.Increased awareness about constitutional values and rights.
3.Development of critical thinking on social issues like equality and justice.
