As per the instructions of our Principal Dr.K.Vijaya Babu sir and in accordance with the Academic Calendar the Government Degree College, Kamavarapukota, Eluru, celebrated the birth anniversary of Raja Vasireddy Venkatadri Naidu with great respect and enthusiasm on 27th April 2026.

The programme was presided over by Sri M. Malleswara Rao, Lecturer in English, who acted as the Chairperson. The event began with floral tributes to the portrait of Raja Vasireddy Venkatadri Naidu by the staff and students.

In his address, the Chairperson highlighted the remarkable contributions of Raja Vasireddy Venkatadri Naidu as a great philanthropist and visionary ruler. He spoke about his efforts in promoting education, culture, and temple development, especially in the Andhra region. He encouraged students to learn from his leadership qualities, generosity, and dedication to society.

Faculty members also delivered short speeches explaining the historical importance and legacy of the great leader. Students actively participated by sharing their thoughts and reflecting on his life and values.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chairperson, staff, and students for their active participation and making the event a grand success.
