      Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu Jayanthi -2026

AIM: - 

The aim is to remember the life and contributions of Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu and create awareness among students about his patriotism, courage, leadership and service to society

Learning Objectives: -

1.To raise awareness about Tanguturi Prakasam’s contributions to India’s freedom struggle and his role in Andhra Pradesh formation

2.To encourage students to adopt leadership qualities and stand for truth and justice, as Prakasam pantulu did.

3.To foster patriotism and National pride in student.

Brief report: - 

As per the instructions of the College Principal Dr.K.Vijay Babu sir and in accordance with the academic calendar, The birth anniversary of Andhra Kesari Sri Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu was organized by the Political Science Department under the Chairmanship of the In-charge Principal M Madhu at the college.The In-charge Principal of the college, M Madhu, who presided over the program, garlanded the portrait of Prakasam Pantulu and paid tribute. Later, In-charge Principal M Madhu, in his speech, praised the great services rendered by Prakasam Pantulu as a freedom fighter and the first Chief Minister of Andhra State. Later, Department of Political Science Lecturer D. Malleswara Rao said that the life of Prakasam Pantulu is an inspiration to everyone. In-charge Principal M Madhu Faculty members Dharavathu Malleswara Rao, P Susyalatha,P Kalpana , non teaching staff G Chandra Mohan, R Kumar Raja and students participated in this event.

Outcomes: -

1.Motivates students to engage in community service and social work

2.Promotes historical awareness and appreciation for Andhra Pradesh’s rich political and cultural heritage
