Aims & Objectives

1. Improving spelling Accuracy:

• The core focus is to accurately spell challenging words, building strong foundational spelling skills.

2. Expanding vocabulary:

• Students ore exposed to a diverse set & words, encouraging Tham to learn correct spellings.

3. Enhancing cognitive skills:

• The process of learning and recalling spellings improve memory, focus and critical thinking skills

  Outcomes

• The learning outcomes of spell bee are - a competitive spirit, improved grammar, increased knowledge of word origin and the ability to handle pressure.

• Spelling bee help the students gain mastery over vocabulary, which in turn enables them to excel at.

 The Department of English conducted Spell Bee Competition Course-wise and college-wise on 30-09-2024 under the  Supervision of  Sri M. Malleswara Rao, Lecturer in English to develop competency over vocabulary, self confidence, public speaking skills among students.
