honor Gandhi's life and principles, promoting his ideals of non-violence and
civil disobedience, and advocating for peaceful resist.
Objectives:
- To
honor Gandhi's birth anniversary and his contributions to India's freedom
struggle
- To
teach students about Gandhi's ideas of non-violence, peace, and truth
- To
inspire students to follow Gandhism.
Brief Report:
- Gandhi Jayanti celebrations were organized by the Department of Political Science in collaboration with the Department of History under the leadership of the In-charge Principal M Malleswara Rao at the college. The In-charge Principal of the college, M Malleswara Rao, who presided over the celebrations, garlanded the portrait of Gandhiji and paid tributes. Later, Principal M Malleswara Rao in his speech praised Gandhiji's services as a great man who fought against the British and achieved independence using great principles like non-violence and satyagraha as weapons. In-charge Principal M Malleswara Rao, N.S.S Coordinator Dr. G Srinivasa Rao, faculty members M Usharani, K Indira Kumari, Dharavathu Malleswara Rao, P Yedukondalu, Vijaya Krishna, Uma and students participated in this celebration.
Learning Outcomes:
- Students expressed their love and gratitude for Gandhi through speeches, slogans, and poems.
- Students
vowed to follow Gandhian values and ideals.
- Students
took the Swachh Bharat oath.
