THEME: “RAIGAD FORT”
AIM: -
- The aim of National Unity Day (Rastriya Ekta Divas) is to promote national integration, unity, and the values of solidarity among students. It is observed on October 31st to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who played a crucial role in unifying India after independence.
Objectives: -
- To encourage students to appreciate India’s diversity and unity.
- To instill a sense of national pride and responsibility among youth.
- To Educate students about Patel role in unifying India
- To Foster collaboration and respect among students from diverse backgrounds.
Brief Report:
- The “National Unity Day’ celebrations organized by the department of Political Science in collaboration of with the N.S.S unit under the leadership of In-charge Principal M Malleswara Rao at the college. The In-charge Principal M Malleswara Rao, who presided over the celebrations, garlanded the portrait of "Vallabhbhai Patel" and paid tribute. Later, Principal M Malleswara Rao, in his speech, said that Patel had made a lot of efforts to unite independent India. Later, a unity rally and unity pledge was organized under the auspices of the NSS Department. In-charge Principal M Malleswara Rao, N.S.S Coordinator Dr. G Srinivasa Rao, faculty members K Indira Kumari, Dharavathu Malleswara Rao, P Yedukondalu, M Vijay Krishna, Uma, and students participated in this celebration.
