THEME: 

“Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Swabhimaan”


AIM: -

  • The aim of 75th Indian Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas), (observed on November 26, 2024) is to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to promote awareness about its values and principles.

 

Objectives: -

  • Honoring the Constitution – To recognize and respect the Indian Constitution, which serves as the supreme law of the land.
  • Remembering Dr. B.R. Ambedkar – To pay tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, and acknowledge his contributions.
  • Promoting Constitutional Values – To spread awareness about the fundamental rights, duties, and democratic principles enshrined in the Constitution. 

Brief Report:

  • The 75th "Constitution Day" celebrations were organized by the Political Science Department in collaboration with the NSS Unit under the leadership of Principal Dr. K Vijayababu at the college. The Principal Dr. K Vijayababu, who presided over the program, garlanded the portrait of the architect of the constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and paid tribute to him. C.P.D.C Secretary Sri G Kesava Rao, who was the chief guest for the program, explained the importance of the constitution. Later, the special guest, Jangareddygudem CSTS Government Degree College Principal Dr. N Prasad Babu, said that everyone should follow the constitutional values. Later, the faculty and students read the preamble to the constitution. Principal Dr. K Vijayababu, CPDC Secretary Sri G Kesava Rao, Jangareddygudem C.S.T.S College Principal Sri Dr. N Prasad Babu, C.P.D.C members and N.S.S Coordinator Dr. G Srinivasa Rao, teachers M Usharani, K Indira Kumari, Dharavathu Malleswara rao, P Yedukondalu, M Vijaya Krishna, staff and students participated in these celebrations.


 Learning Outcomes: -

  • Increased constitutional Awareness.
  • Promotion of democratic values.
  • Development of civic responsibility.
