 Theme : Take the Rights Path: My Health, My Right!”

   

           37th World AIDS Day with the theme, “Collective Action: Sustain and Accelerate HIV Progress.”

 Aim :   

  To educate students about HIV/AIDS, its causes, consequences, and prevention methods, and to promote a supportive environment for those affected by the disease.

 Objectives

  • To raise awareness about HIV/AIDS among students, faculty, and staff.
  • To promote HIV prevention, treatment, and support services.
  • To reduce stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS.
  • To encourage students to take an active role in preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS.

Brief Report

  NSS, and RRC jointly organized world  AIDS Day in our college under the chairmanship of our college in-charge principal M. Malleswara Rao,. In this program Our NSS program officer Dr G. Srinivasa Rao, RRC  coordinator P.Yedukondalu , and staff and students are participated.

Outcomes:

 1.Increased awareness and knowledge: Students demonstrate improved understanding of HIV/AIDS, its causes, consequences, and prevention methods.

  2.Improved attitudes and behaviors: Students show reduced stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS and are more likely to adopt preventive behaviors.

 3.Increased support for people living with HIV/AIDS: Students are more supportive and inclusive of people living with HIV/AIDS, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
